East Asian and Finnish Cultural Week

Parallel Worlds

Helsinki’s first ever East Asian and Finnish Cultural Week is a new initiative that brings together traditional art and tradition-inspired contemporary works from East Asia and Finland.

Its aim is to support cultural exchange and to offer audiences access to art forms that are seldom presented side by side in Finland.

The project responds to Finland’s growing cultural diversity by creating a focused platform for sharing artistic practices. The cultural week includes performances, workshops, panel discussions, and community events that encourage public participation and direct interaction with the artists.
