Course Description<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe Chinese classroom of Bluebird Chinese is a non-traditional inheritance language classroom based on the micro-Chinese context of the multi-form classroom with Chinese as the main body of expression, with the goal of awakening Chinese expressing interest and cultivating Chinese expression ability. The classroom uses the joint efforts of teachers and students to carry out immersive, interdisciplinary Chinese learning. There are various forms of classrooms, Chinese games, classroom drama, poetry reading, scientific observation, picture book intensive reading, micro-reading, micro-writing, etc. are all ways for us to cultivate children’s Chinese ability.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Haimian (Sponge) Class<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Target Students:<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nChildren aged 2-4 years old in the period of language initiation\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Course Description:<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThrough stories, nursery rhymes, songs, crafts and games and other fun forms, we create an original Chinese language environment for younger children. Help children naturally acquire rich vocabulary and sentence patterns during play, encourage children to speak Chinese, and lay the foundation for future Chinese learning.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Haima (Seahorse) Class<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Target Student:<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nChildren aged 6-12 who are in a sensitive period of language but do not have a suitable Chinese language environment.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Course Description:<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nUsing interesting Chinese content suitable for children’s mental development level, choose to play games, do experiments, read nursery rhymes, listen to stories and other colourful teaching forms, teach children to speak Chinese, recognize Chinese characters, expand children’s interest in Chinese learning, focus on improving children’s listening and speaking skills, and help children get through the bottleneck period of Chinese learning.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Haiying (Puffin) Class<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Target Students:<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nChildren aged 4-5 years, who have a good foundation in Chinese and have parent-child Chinese reading experiences.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Course Description:<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nUsing interesting Chinese content suitable for children’s mental development level, using picture book reading, mathematical thinking training, scientific experiments, nursery rhyme recitation, Chinese character recognition and other colourful teaching forms, cultivate children’s Chinese reading habits and lay the foundation for the comprehensive development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Target Students:<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nChildren aged 7-10 with a Chinese foundation (able to read through general texts).\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Course Description:<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe interdisciplinary curriculum with picture book intensive reading as the main line, 24 picture books are selected, and through the teaching of 12 themes, children are guided into the text, into the background of the times, understand the writers and authors, analyse and discuss the character image, semantic context, and theme of the work, through theme reading and comparative reading, improve children’s Chinese literacy and interest in reading, and cultivate the ability of intensive reading and writing.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
